Chief Executive of Tirumala Balaji Ferro alloys. Ltd. Raigarh. Having two furnaces of 9.0 MVA each,  for producing H.C.Fe. Cr.

Here, I have reduced P.C. of Ferro chrome by 250 units/Ton and achieved 12.5 to 15.0  kgs. of electrode paste per ton production of Fe.Cr. Simultaneously, we produce Si.Mn. with 12 Kgs of electrode paste & 3800 units of power per ton of alloys grade Mn. 60% and Si.15%  our Load factor was never below 98%

Normal life of the Contact clemp we have received more then 6 years. i.e. in last six years we have changed only one clemp rest 17 clemps are still working.

At present I am also looking after the responsibilities of sister concern M/S Bhaskar Shranchi Alloys Ltd., Durgapur,where we are having two furnaces of 7.5 MVA and 6.5 MVA each producing Si.Mn. both are giving very good result i.e. 15.0 Kg. Paste cons.and 3800 Kwh. Cons.P/T.

Recently I have design and commissioned one furnaces for Surya Alloys (P) ltd.  Barjora. WB.It is sister concern of Tirumala Bala ji alloys (P) ltd., on 18th Feb. 2011. Another furnace shall be commissioned by end of Aug. 2011. For making Ferro chrome and Ferro Silico Manganese.

2003 to 2004 June

Resident Director of Raghuvir Ferro alloys (P) Ltd Raipur

One furnace of 7.5 MVA designed for making Fe.Si.Mn. Eraction and commissioned in the year 2003-2004 and working with full satisfaction

One old furnace of 9.0 MVA of the above company was sick and closed since last 10 years I have modified and re-designed the furnace and raw material charging system for smooth production of H.C.Fe.Mn. and Fe.Si.Mn. in the year 2003 -2004 working and giving good result.

Achievements

1. With the same old transformer (suitable for producing Ferro Chrome) we have achieved 1300 M.T. of Fe.Mn. and 1000 tons of Si.Mn.

2. Contact clamps modified for trouble free service.

3. Flexible cable re designed to reduce the Fce. Break downs

4. Same lining of 10 years old continued for production.

5. Slipping device of Electrode was re-designed.

2000 to 2002

I was consultant to M/S Chattisgarh Electricity Co. Ltd., for finalizing drawings, erection and commissioning of their two Semi closed furnaces of 9.0 MVA each, for producing Ferro manganese at Raipur, this is the sister concern of M/S Raipur Alloys & Steel Co. LTD., Raipur.

I have commissioned first furnace of GMR Vasavi Industries Ltd, Bishnupur. Distt. Burdwan for 15.00 MVA for making Fe. Cr.

I have designed & commissioned one furnace of 0.25 MVA single phase for melting waste fines of Ferro alloys. For Andhra Ferro alloys (P) Ltd.,Visakhapatnam.A.P.

1998 to 1999

I, took the responsibilities for improving the working of M/S Bhaskar Shrachi Alloys Ltd., Durgapur. Which I have completed to their satisfaction.

1994 to 1997

One 7.5 MVA for producing Fe. Cr was commissioned by me in the year 1996.

Monnet Industries Ltd. Raipur, old furnace Plant capacity was 9.0 MVA. Connected load was 6.5 MVA it was modified and following were achievements

1. Plant production was raised from 350 MT. to 750 M.T.P/M of HC Ferro Chrome.

Plant break downs controlled, efficiency cross to 96.%.. Preventive maintenance culture was developed. Quality of production was improved for sale as per requirement of market. Recovery of Metal from slag and sand was improved.

Power cons. P/T was reduced by 300 Kwh under the same odd infrastructure.

A RECORD ACHIEVEMENT IN THE YEAR 1997

Alok Ferro Alloys (P) Ltd., Raipur. Was Producing HC.Fe.Cr. In one furnace which got punctured from the bottom , same was repaired by me and production was re-stored in 2 days. WHICH N0 ONE COULD DO IN OUR COUNTRY.

1988 to 1994

Technical Director of M/S Deepak Ferro Alloys Pvt. Ltd., Raipur. Plant Capacity was 3.6 MVA. For H.C. Fe.Cr.

This 3.5 MVA fce was designed by me for producing 5000 M.T.of H.C. Fe. Cr. P/A It was. Successfully commissioned, this plant was an example in Raipur For the ratio of production cum investments.

Year 1991. I have design one Ferro Alloy plant of 5.0 MVA for M/S Kaushik Ferro Alloys Pvt. Ltd.,Malanpur Distt. Guwalior, for making HC.Fe.Mn. and Fe.Si.Mn.

1987 to 1988

Factory Manager of M/S M.P. Carbide & Chemicals LTD, Katni. Plant Capacity was 11.5 MVA connected load 7.5 MVA. Never produce more then 500 MT of calcium carbide.

Plant operation was improved and Production was achieved to 1050.00 M.T. P/M of Calcium carbide.

1960 to 1987

I, joined to M/S Khandelwal Ferro Alloys LTD, Khandelwal Nagar, Distt Nagpur from the very inception of the plant i.e.Aug.1960,

Plant was commissioned by M/S Elkem . of Norway. In the Year 1960. Plant capacity was 18 MVA. ( 9 MVA x 2 Fce.)
ELKEM furnace was modified by me in the year 1986-87.and achieved saving in power consumption by 250 Kwh P/T of Ferro Manganese this modification were completed by Spending only RS. 200000.00. As against the proposal of Rs.4500000.00 of M/S Tanabe of Japan.

Started my carrier from this industry as an operator in prod. deptt. and become production In charge while I left in the year 1987.
